To Share: Carer Voice Network Event

Is your organisation supporting any carers? Let them know about this event.

Join the network event at Create Café on September 25 at 10:00 – 11:00am. Create Café is at the bottom of the Wakefield One council building – 1 Burton Street, Wakefield, WF1 2EB.

 You are welcome to come along with the person you care for. Refreshments will be provided.

Agenda for this session

• Share the revised Carer Strategy Action Plan on a Page – this document has been updated to reflect the comments made by carers in the Carer Voice Network (10 mins)

 
• Share the draft of the Carer Voice Network flyer / leaflet that has been designed – would like some input on the design from carers (10 mins)
 
• Updates on the Learning Disability Carers Development Day and Carers Rights Day (10 mins)
 
• Citizen Coin Update / Presentation - Citizen Coin is an app and website which volunteers / CVN members can use to earn "coins" which can then be exchanged for discounts at local businesses (10 mins)
 
• The network would like to hear about any topics that are important to you as they want carers to drive the conversation. Please bring any ideas / experiences that you would like to  share / areas where you want to see improvements made etc. (20 mins)

If people want to remain to chat after 11am you are welcome to do so in the main part of the Café.
