Grow Wakefield are seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join our team as part-time Forest School Instructors!
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering engaging and inspiring Forest School sessions to children in schools (infant through to higher education) and in the community.
- Leading workshops for adults focusing on mental health and wellbeing through nature connection.
- Teaching a range of bushcraft skills, such as fire lighting, shelter building, and wild food foraging.
- Creating and adapting lesson plans to suit different age groups and abilities.
- Working closely with schools, community groups, and other organizations.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Relevant qualifications in Forest School, Outdoor Education, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
- Experience working with children and/or adults in an outdoor setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for nature and a strong commitment to environmental education.
- First Aid and relevant safeguarding qualifications.
