Male Community Outreach/Support Worker

GASPED is dedicated to providing exceptional practical & emotional support and services to individuals and communities in need. They are currently seeking 2x part time compassionate and motivated Muslim Community Outreach/Support Worker to join the team and support individuals within the Muslim community who have been bereaved. GASPED are eager to receive applications from both male and female applicants.

Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? Do you have experience in bereavement, support work and/or counselling? Are you bi-lingual in English and Urdu, Punjabi, or Arabic? If so, GASPED want to hear from you!

Plus, you'll be part of a supportive team within a rapidly growing local charity dedicated to delivering practical and person-centered emotional support to individuals across the Wakefield District. The role is a part-time position working 2x 7.5 hours per day with standard hours being Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. This role requires a level of flexibility as you will be required to commit to some evening and weekend work, dependant on client need.
