Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service is a nationally recognised, multi award winning mental health charity, which provides an alternative, non-medical approach to emotional distress. They provide out of hours services to people in acute mental health crisis, who may otherwise end up in psychiatric services, A&E, or other crisis and emergency provision.
The posts are subject to a Genuine Occupational Requirement, as all staff who work at Dial House @Touchstone must identify as being from a culturally diverse community.
Dial House @Touchstone is open 6pm-12am Tuesday and Thursday nights for people from culturally diverse communities who are in acute mental health crisis. The service is also open on Monday nights for social support, also 6pm-12am. The project is a partnership with Touchstone and runs from the Touchstone Support Centre in LS8.
Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service wish to recruit people with personal experience of mental distress and substantial experience of working with people from culturally diverse groups with mental health problems, including working with people at risk of suicide and self harm.
As a member of the bank team, you can work your hours flexibly where cover is needed. Excellent support and supervision is provided.
