Sexual Health Service Lead

BHA for Equality is a leading health and social care charity that works to challenge health inequalities and delivers a range of services to support individuals, families & communities to improve their health & well-being.  

BHA have an exciting opportunity available for a Service Lead for their HIV support and prevention services across the Wakefield District. They are looking for an experienced and dynamic Service Lead coordinate a range of services to improve sexual and reproductive health in the Wakefield District and reduce inequalities in sexual and reproductive health.

BHA's services in Wakefield provide:

  • Support for people living with HIV
  • Community engagement initiatives and sexual health promotion interventions including outreach, 1:1 and group interventions
  • HIV and STI testing
  • Challenge stigma, discrimination and health inequalities
  • Promote equality and diversity

The post holder will manage a small team of staff and work collaboratively with clinical, community and commissioning partners.

The role will involve:

  • Development and delivery of a range of services to meet the needs of a diverse population
  • Developing strong partnerships and collaborations with a range of stakeholders
  • Providing management support to the team
  • Producing performance and activity reports
  • Representing BHA at relevant stakeholder meetings and forums

Actual pro rata salary is £20,019.60 - £21,141.00 per annum
