Citizens Advice Barnsley (Central Area)
Citizens Advice Barnsley is excited to announce an opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as General Advice Workers. This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week, with a salary of £25,724 per annum, dependent on experience. The position is funded by the Central Area Council and is offered on a fixed-term basis until 31st March 2028. The role involves providing tailored advocacy, advice, and support to individuals and families facing a variety of challenges. By helping clients resolve their issues and equipping them with tools to prevent similar situations in the future, you will play a vital role in making a difference in the community. While experience in delivering general advice and holding a general advice certificate is desirable, we welcome applications from those who are eager to undertake training to achieve this qualification. Strong communication and interviewing skills, alongside a commitment to delivering high-quality advice, are essential for this role.
