Information about
Make Every Contact Count For Physical Health Workshop
If you speak to the public as part of your role, as a volunteer or staff member, this training will help you to have positive, supportive conversations about physical activity. Helping people to make small sustainable changes that support their health and wellbeing.
This is a great option for your staff and volunteer training/induction and provides strong evidence of your team’s knowledge and skills for funding bids.
What to expect
The workshop is a full morning from 9am to 12pm at West Wakefield Methodist Church, with plenty of refreshments provided.
This workshop will build your confidence and knowledge so you can:
- Understand the factors that influence community health and wellbeing
- Be ready to engage residents in short conversations about these issues
- Signpost people into trusted community providers that can then support and inspire them
Successful participants will receive an e-certificate from Royal Society of Public Health for this workshop.
