Information about
Lunch & Learn: Your building's not making money?
This workshop is designed for organisations with buildings or community spaces that are looking to generate income from their assets.
Through practical examples, participants will explore different ways to make use of their space and develop new income streams. We’ll look at how buildings and facilities can support financial sustainability, while continuing to deliver social value and meet the needs of the community.
The session will introduce a range of practical options and innovative example from across the UK. We’ll also consider some of the practical issues involved in these approaches.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a clearer understanding of the potential of your building or space and some practical ideas for turning underused assets into a more sustainable source of income.
This workshop is specific to Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations. Staff, trustees and volunteers working at VCSE organisations in Wakefield District are welcomed to attend.
This workshop will be delivered by our friends at Participate Projects, experts in funding and enterprise for charities, social enterprises and community iniatives.
