Skills Bootcamp in Project Management
This Skills Bootcamp will equip your employees or volunteerswith the knowledge and practical tools to plan, deliver and evaluate projects effectively.
Participants will gain experience in:
- Project planning and scheduling
- Risk and resource management
- Stakeholder and communicationmanagement
- Budgeting and project evaluation
- Using project tools and techniques
Course Dates
Tuesdays, 9am – 3pm
Start Date: 6 January 2026
Further Sessions: 13/01, 20/01, 27/01, 03/02, 10/02, 17/02, 24/02,03/03, 10/03, 17/03, 24/03
Total: 12 sessions over 12 weeks
Delivered face-to-face at Wakefield College, City Centre Campus
Book by 16 December.
Who It's For
- Employees or volunteers who want to develop project delivery and leadership skills
- VCSE organisations seeking to strengthen their internal capacity for managing projects, grants, and community initiatives
- Ideal for staff progressing into team leader or project coordinator roles

Cost
Fully funded for eligible jobseekers and applicants who self-refer.
Employers who refer staff will have to pay a contribution - £337.50pp if you are an SME (fewer than 250 employees) and £1012.50pp for large businesses (250+ employees).
