Connecting Wakefield Meeting

You're invited to the next Connecting Wakefield meeting - a festive one to end the year and celebrate with VCSE colleagues and the Nova Team.

Free and open to anyone from a charity, community group, voluntary organisation or social enterprise in Wakefield District.

What to expect

• Mince pies!
• No speakers or presentations, just plenty of time for networking.
• Name badges so you can meet new people, or put a face to a name.

We'll also have a separate space for you to speak to the Nova Team about any support or advice you need, so you can get those last bits off your to-do list before the holidays or put new plans in place for 2026. You can speak to Julie, Rachel, Martin, Andy (our Adviser Team), Helen (our Project Lead for the Community Investment Gateway), Alice (our Communications Manager), and Scott (our Contracts and Grants Manager).

This will be our Ask Nova: Free Drop In For VCSE Organisations for December, rather than our usual session at the Nova office from 10am to 4pm.

Connecting Wakefield is a friendly space and attendees vary, so newcomers are very welcome. The aim of the network is to aid communication and collaboration across the VCSE sector, so we can better serve each other and our communities.

We'll be in the rooms to the right of reception, which are accessible for wheelchair users.
