Ask Nova: Free Drop In For VCSE Organisations

On the third Tuesday of the month, we hold a free drop-in between 10am to 12pm.

* The December drop-in will be slightly different to usual - it will finish at 12pm and will be taking place at Lightwaves, just across the road from the Nova office *

‍Come by for free advice on any burning issues, questions or new ideas. Speak to an Adviser about any topics - they have a tonne of experience supporting and working at VCSE organisations themselves.

We can give you advice on how to...

• Improve your funding application (bring it along)
• Approach a safeguarding concern
• Get started as an organisation
• Prepare your annual returns
• Write a constitution
• Tackle a premises issue
• Diversify your income streams
• Use Canva or design a new poster (from our Communications Manager)
• Write a new policy or update an old one

The drop in is for staff, trustees, and volunteers from a Voluntary, Community or Social Enterprise organisation working in Wakefield District. This includes:

• Voluntary organisations
• Environmental or heritage groups
