Who should attend

Anyone involved in running or managing a sports club or community organisation in Wakefield that is:

  • Involved in delivering any type of community sport / physical activity (can be affiliated or not affiliated to a National Governing Body)
  • Supporting your local community as an un/constituted group, charity, social enterprise or community benefit society
  • Generating an income of up to £500k

We are particularly interested in supporting volunteers, managers, staff and trustees from sports clubs running in the Wakefield area.

About the session

This workshop will be delivered by Anthony Waddington, the chief executive of Participate projects. Anthony has worked for Participate since 2012, helping individuals, communities organisations, schools and public sector organisations turn great ideas into sustainable social ventures.
