Information about
Becoming Contract Ready Workshop
Join us on Wednesday 18 March from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Eastmoor Community Project for an in person workshop designed to help VCSE organisations understand what it means to be contract ready. This session is free for VCSE organisations within the Wakefield District
This practical session will be led by Paul Killgalon from Participate Projects, who brings extensive experience in supporting organisations to navigate commissioning processes and strengthen their readiness for contract delivery.
The workshop will explore:
• What commissioners look for when awarding contracts
• The key systems, governance, and financial arrangements you need in place
• Demonstrating impact and evidencing outcomes
• Managing risk and delivery expectations
• Common pitfalls and how to avoid them
This session is ideal for organisations looking to move from grants to contracts, strengthen their internal processes, or better position themselves for future commissioning opportunities.
