Information about

Connecting Wakefield Meeting

You're invited to the next Connecting Wakefield meeting - this time, we'll be focusing on workplace wellbeing and starting the conversation about how to embed that into VCSE workplaces.

Free and open to anyone from a charity, community group or social enterprise in Wakefield District.

What to expect

The theme of this networking session is workplace wellbeing.

It's an area we all recognise is important so we can look after our staff and volunteers and provide sustainable services, but it can be difficult to manage on top of a never ending to-do list.

So we're inviting you to come along and:

  • Chat to other organisations about what works well for them
  • Hear from Rachel Hale (Lead Community Mental Health Builder) about best practice
  • Get some guidance on realistic standards
  • Take some time for yourself!

We hope you’ll leave with new knowledge, ideas, and ways to embed wellbeing in your own organisation.

More information

  • Connecting Wakefield is a friendly space and attendees vary, so newcomers are very welcome. The aim of the network is to aid communication and collaboration across the VCSE sector, so we can better serve each other and our communities.
