The People's Fund - You Decide Event, Wakefield

This is a You Decide community voting event, where local residents get the power to choose which grassroots projects receive funding through The People’s Fund, a £500,000 initiative supporting work to reduce serious violence across West Yorkshire.

Community groups and organisations have applied for grants of up to £10,000, and now it’s over to you to decide which projects will make the biggest difference in your area.

At this event, shortlisted applicants will present their ideas in person, giving you the chance to hear directly from the people leading positive change in your community. Your vote will help determine which projects receive funding and go on to make a real impact from June 2026 to May 2027.
