Nova wants to create a space for our members to come together and be inspired! So join us at our 2021-22 AGM for a morning of enterprising talks, networking and personalised funding support.

We're thrilled to invite you to our 2021-22 AGM, where we'll be reflecting on the past year and looking forward to how our brilliant sector can be more enterprising.

Following on from the success of Wakefield District's Funders Fair in September, you asked us for more opportunities to network and get that all-important funding support - and we're more than happy to do so!

Book your free ticket now, we can't wait to see you there.

Part 1: AGM

Nova Wakefield District Limited's Annual General Meeting for 2021 - 2022 will be held on:

Date: Tuesday 6 December
Time: 9am to 1.15pm
(for the AGM & Enterprise and Funding Event)
Venue: The Walker Studio, Theatre Royal Wakefield, Drury Lane, Wakefield, WF1 2TE

Agenda of AGM

  1. Welcome and apologies
  2. Chair's opening remarks
  3. Minutes of the last Annual General Meeting held on 9 December 2021
  4. Presentation and acceptance of the Annual Report and Accounts 2021/22
  5. Appointment of Auditors
  6. Appointment of Directors

Appointing Directors

At every AGM, one-third of the elected Directors must stand down and put themselves up for re-election. At this AGM we will be asking members to re-elect three of our existing Directors: Mohammed Ayub, Hayley Grocock, and Peter Taylor who have retired by rotation.

We will also be asking members to elect three new Directors: Samantha Davis, Janet Archbold, and Lucy Ndlovu.

If you are unable to attend the AGM and wish to appoint a proxy, please contact Nova on 01924 367418 or at info@nova-wd.org.uk and we can advise you on who you can appoint as your proxy.

You can find the papers, biographies and proxy voting form here.
