Does your organisation work with local children and young people? Do they need a devise to use at home?

Wakefield Council alongside Airedale Computers are continuing to recycle donated laptops, to re-distribute to those children and young people who do not have a device to use at home, to access their education and be digitally connected. They currently have a stock of laptops, which are available to be donated to an eligible young person.

A child or young person whose current circumstances mean that they do not have a suitable device to engage in their home learning/ internet access are eligible. If you are working directly with a family and have identified this as a need, you can nominate them by emailing digitaldonations@wakefield.gov.uk for a nomination form. They will arrange for an available laptop to be donated.

Wakefield Council are unable to guarantee availability of laptops but will endeavour to meet the requirements in the nomination.

Any requests for further information, please email the digital donations mailbox.
