Sport England’s Moving Communities service is hosting a webinar on Monday 12 October from 10am to 11:30am, to showcase how it can support organisations that deliver sport and physical activity across the Wakefield district.

Moving Communities is a sector-leading data and insight platform, designed to help partners better understand their communities, identify need, target investment, and measure impact. Bringing together participation, demographic, facility, health and community data into one place, it provides a powerful evidence base to inform decision-marking at both strategic and operational levels. It is available to all partners in the Yorkshire Sport area, free of charge.

During the webinar, attendees with:

• Learn about Sport England's vision for Moving Communities and its strategic importance to the sector.
• See a live demonstration of the platform andits key functionality.
• Explore how partners are using data and insight to inform local strategies, programmes and investment decisions.
