West Yorkshire Survivors of Sexual Violence Pathfinder bite size training offer
West Yorkshire Survivor Pathfinder is a pilot partnership project funded by NHSE, bringing together NHS mental health services alongside specialist rape crisis centres: Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield RASAC, Support After Rape and Sexual Violence Leeds, and Bradford Rape Crisis. West Yorkshire Survivor Pathfinder is designed specifically for adult survivors of rape and/or sexual abuse living with complex trauma-related mental health needs.
This series of 1 hour training sessions is designed to support the recognition, understanding and effective ways of working with survivors of historic childhood sexual abuse and recent sexual assault and rape:
- Session 1: Introduction to Pathfinder and your local rape crisis services. Tuesday 2 December, 10am to 11am
- Session 2: Prevalence and impact of sexual violence. Tuesday 9 December, 10am to 11am
- Session 3: Survivor Centred Practice. Tuesday 16 December, 10am to 11am
- Session 4: Managing disclosures of sexual violence. Tuesday 6 January, 10am to 11am
