VCSE organisations working to help prevent gambling related harms in England have until 6 January to submit an expression of interest for this new £30 million fund which is expected to open on 12 January 2026.
The money comes from a new statutory levy on gambling operators which took effect earlier this year. The levy is expected to raise over £100 million and will be allocated across the three workstreams of research (20%), prevention (30%) and treatment (50%).

Applicants will need to demonstrate their commitment to achieving an industry free funding status for the four years leading up until 2030 and will be required to sign a Declaration of Interest agreement provided by Government.
The deadline to submit an Expression of Interest is 9 January 2026 (12 noon).
Grants are available for voluntary and community organisations in England to carry out community-led projects that improve the environment and help people connect with and enjoy nature where they live.
The Paddle Trust funds projects that will improve accessibility for all forms of paddlesport, and/or protect waterways and oceans.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available for UK registered charities for specific projects that improve communication skills for disadvantaged adults and supports NEET people into employment.
