Volunteers' Week 2026: Wakefield Celebration

We're hosting a Volunteers’ Week celebration picnic to bring volunteers together and say thank you for all they do. Feel free to drop in and stay as long as you like.

What’s happening

• A relaxed picnic-style event with a buffet lunch provided
• A chance to meet and connect with other volunteers from different organisations
• Guided cathedral tours for those who’d like to explore the space and its history
• A unique opportunity to view peregrine falcons nesting at the cathedral using a telescope
