Sports In The City

Wakefield BID are planning an exciting event in the heart of Wakefield that aims to bring together local sports clubs, gyms, walking groups, cycling groups, sports and active communities, and more for a day of fun, activity, and community spirit.

Wednesday 23 July to Friday 25 July in Wakefield City Centre.

They’re creating a Stakeholder Village to showcase the fantastic opportunities our city has to offer, across the city at the Ridings, Trinity, Cathedral and many more venues.

Whether it’s Pilates, chair-based exercise, or something more energetic, they want to offer something for everyone. There will be information stalls, interactive activities, and even gamification elements to make the day truly engaging.

Get Involved

Wakefield BID want to hear from any groups / organisations that may wany to attend with an experimental offer or a stall.
