This free workshop is all about fundraising and income generation so that your organisation can keep running sport activities. Get advice from an experienced professional who can help you with finding funders, avoiding common errors, creating an action plan, budgeting essentials, and what funders want to see.
You’ll come away with fresh ideas and next steps that fit your needs and capacity.
Who should attend
Anyone involved in running or managing a sports club or community organisation that is:
- Involved in delivering any type of community sport / physical activity (can be affiliated or not affiliated to a National Governing Body)
- Supporting your local community as an un/constituted group, charity, social enterprise or community benefit society
- Generating an income of up to £500k
About the session
This workshop will be delivered by Anthony Waddington, the chief executive of Participate projects. Anthony has worked for Participate since 2012, helping individuals, communities organisations, schools and public sector organisations turn great ideas into sustainable social ventures.
