We're proud to be part of one of three partnership projects from Wakefield District that have been shortlisted in the HSJ Partnership Awards 2023, which recognise outstanding dedication to improving healthcare and effective collaboration with the NHS. Nominees were whittled down to finalists by a panel of more than 100 judges!
The national healthcare sector faced innumerable pressures over the past 12 months – yet the standard and overriding positivity of the partnerships this year highlight the enduring dedication to improving patient outcomes.
This prestigious award programme, now in its sixth year, is not just a celebration of success stories but also a platform to shape the future of our new integrated health and care system.
To be shortlisted as a finalist for these awards, despite tough competition from a pool of brilliant applications, is a mark of real achievement for Nova, Connexus Healthcare and our partners. The Future Selph Wakefield was selected based on our diligence, ambition, and the positive impact that the project has had on both practitioners and patients within the healthcare industry.
Future Selph Wakefield – also known as the 16 to 25 Mental Health Project – supports 16 to 25 year olds to build their own unique path to an improved sense of mental health and wellbeing. It's funded by the Mental Health Alliance of the Wakefield District Health and Care Partnership and aimed to:
It is a collaboration between a number of partners: Nova Wakefield District; Conexus Healthcare; Wakefield District Health and Care Partnership; St George's Lupset; The Youth Association; Rycroft Leisure, SMaSH; Youth Empowerment Project; Humanity 1st; and Gasped.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on 23 March 2023. Fingers crossed!
