Huge congratulations to our member, Humanity 1st CIC, for being awarded National Lottery funding to support BAME groups in our community over the next three years.

Humanity 1st CIC has received funding for their project Bridging the Gap.

Bridging the Gap aims to deliver a range of person-centred support for BAME communities in the most deprived areas of Wakefield District. Empowering newly arrived and established members of Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities to become self-sustainable, challenge negative thinking and provide wraparound support to improve feelings of self-worth and combating loneliness and anxiety through practical support, language acquisition and well-being work.

We can't wait to see the incredible impact we're sure the project will have!

If you'd like to get in touch with Humanity 1st to find out more or see how you can get involved, please contact Rohie at rohie@humanity1st.co.uk
