How To: Preparing to Apply for Live Well Small Grants

Applications for Live Well Wakefield Small Grants will open in June, so get ready now!

Live Well Wakefield Small Grants are a bit different this year - new and improved.

We're now offering grants up to £10,000 with possibility of two year funding.

These grants support projects that meet health and wellbeing related needs, and build strength within communities. More details will be shared on our website and platforms in June.

Interested? Here's what you need to do...

1. Sign up to our database

  • Applications will now be made online, through our new database.
  • You will need to set up an account, which will then be verified by our team.
  • So if you set up your account now, you can avoid any delays when the funding is announced!

You'll be able to use your account to check the status of funding applications and request support from our team.

This is a different sign in to the Nova Members Area of our website, so you won't be able to sign into our database using those details.

2. Check if your organisation is a member of the Third Sector Framework

We'll once again be using the Framework to distribute this funding, so it is:

  • Fair - objective criteria for awarding funding
  • Open - funding is not targeted towards any individual organisations
  • Transparent - clear processes and decisions made by a panel

So to apply for Live Well Small Grants, you need to be a Framework member. You can check this on our database, see the video above for details.

3. If not, apply for the Third Sector Framework

  • You can now apply for the Framework online.
  • Read our step-by-step guide so you know what to expect and good news - if you've signed up to our database as explained above, you've already completed steps 1 to 5!
  • Your application will be saved as you go, so you can come back to it.

We'd encourage you to complete your Framework application as soon as possible.
