Culture Grants have relaunched for 2024 as part of Our Year 2024!

Funding from £250 to £15,000 is available to support Wakefield district-based creatives, organisations and community groups to run creative / heritage projects.

Wakefield Council are holding drop-in information sessions for Culture Grants 2024 across Wakefield district and online in October 2023 to answer any questions you might have about project eligibility and the application process.

Sessions will be held in the following locations:

  • Tuesday 3 October, 10am to 12pm - Airedale Library
  • Tuesday 3 October,1:30 to 3:30pm - Aspire @ The Park
  • Wednesday 4 October, 10am to 12pm - Wakefield Library
  • Wednesday 4 October, 5 to 7pm - Wakefield Library
  • Thursday 5 October, 10am to 12pm - Horbury Library
  • Friday 6 October, 10am to 12pm - Hemsworth Library
  • Friday 6 October, 1:30 to 3:30pm - South Elmsall Library 
  • Monday 9 October, 10am to 12pm - Anglers Country Park Visitor’s Centre
  • Monday 9 October, 5 to 7pm - Online via Microsoft Teams (Book on to this session via this online registration form)
  • Tuesday 10 October, 12 to 2pm – Online via Microsoft Teams (Book on to this session via this online registration form)
