The Sir George Martin Trust is an independent grantmaker which aims to improve the well-being of economically and socially disadvantaged people in West Yorkshire by giving grants to locally-based, registered charities and churches who support their local community.
The Trust generally gives out flexible, one-off grants for running, capital and project costs, ranging from £500 – £5,000, however grants in the region of £2,000 – £3,000 are most common.
Grants are available to registered charities and churches doing outreach work, who are working to improve the wellbeing of disadvantaged and vulnerable people in West Yorkshire.

AS THERE IS CURRENTLY SUCH A HIGH DEMAND FOR GRANTS, WE ARE NOW FULL UP FOR OUR FEBRUARY MEETING AND UNFORTUNATELY CAN’T TAKE ANYMORE ENQUIRIES OR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR FEBRUARY. Grants are available for small to medium-sized charities registered and working in the UK that defend human rights and promote respect for vulnerable individuals.
Funding is available to VCSE organisations to explore ideas to improve health, wellbeing, or community services through research - with interest in exploring the intersection of mental health & health inequalities.
Grant funding of up to £10,250 is available for eligible community and voluntary organisations to set up and deliver the DofE, as well as the enrolment costs for young people taking part.
