VCSE Sector Annual Conference

The Mayor for West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin and Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, Alison Lowe OBE, would like to invite you to attend their fourth annual VSCE Sector Conference which will celebrate the work of the sector and how it has worked in partnership over the last 12 months.

The topic for this year’s conference is the ‘’Spotlight’’ on Serious Violence which is a key theme in the new draft Police and Crime Plan and a critical component to support our efforts to keep West Yorkshire Safe. Just. Inclusive.

The vision for our work is to come together with partners including the police, local authorities, health, education, VCSE partners and our communities’. The event will give delegates the opportunity to discuss the key challenges, issues or developments as well as any actions they would like to see.

Attendees will hear from a number of colleagues, including the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector Partners and those with lived experience.

The conference will take place at John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield, HD1 6PG on Wednesday 13 November 10:00-15:00 (with registration from 09:15)

There will be an opportunity to showcase your work/the support you can offer to reduce serious violence, and we are looking to create positive networking opportunities throughout the event.

If you would like to have a stall at the conference, please let us know, please note that spaces are limited, and an early response would be appreciated.

To secure your place at this event please email consultation.pc@westyorks-ca.gov.uk by Friday 10 November
