Grants for not-for-profit organisations with charitable projects in the North East, Yorkshire and north Lincolnshire that support the community in line with the Foundation’s priority areas of energy resilience, vulnerability, fuel poverty, levelling the rural divide, innovation, collaboration or charities.
A range of organisations can apply including but not limited to parish councils, village halls, community hubs and community centres, community associations, community trusts, community partnerships, etc. (Sports clubs and associations may not apply for this funding.)
Grants of up to £500 are available for volunteering or community service projects that are run by young people aged 30 and younger to help them put their ideas into action and run projects that benefit others.
As part of its new grant-making Strategy 2022-25, BBC Children in Need has launched a grants stream for core costs.
