Information about
Wakefield District VCSE SEND Community Meeting
Hear about the new Neurodiversity Hub Model being proposed for Wakefield District, and be part of the conversation as the approach develops.
Jacqui Dundas will join us in her new role to share the developing plans for the Hub, explain the opportunities and, importantly, hear from organisations already working alongside children, young people and families.
The session is an opportunity to explore:
- what is already working well for children, young people and families;
- where organisations are seeing gaps or challenges;
- what the VCSE sector could contribute to the developing Neurodiversity Hub;
- the capacity, knowledge and relationships that already exist within our communities; and
- how we make sure lived experience and the knowledge of local organisations help shape what develops next.
This is an important opportunity for Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) organisations across Wakefield District to come together, hear what is being proposed and make sure the experience of the children, young people and families we work alongside are part of developing the approach.
