History in the Making is a grant that enables underrepresented young people (aged 13-25) to discover, engage, and connect with their local stories and ensure the history that matters to them is not forgotten. Using different art forms, from artworks and murals to immersive walking trails and theatre productions, young people decide who and what to celebrate and how best to do it.
Historic England are looking to provide grants of up to £15,000. Successful applicants will work directly with young people out-of-school hours in areas of high social deprivation.
Projects must be co-created, with young people’s voices at the heart of decision-making.
One-year flexible funding for projects that improve nature for local communities.
Unrestricted grants of up to £45,000 (over 1–3 years) plus strategic pro bono business support to help small charities, CIOs, CICs and CBSs grow or strengthen.
Grants for VCSE organisations to run community-led projects for: men aged 35–59 who are unemployed, economically inactive or facing economic precarity; and older men (60+) experiencing key life transition.
