The meetings are a friendly and welcoming peer space that:

• Shares best practice
• Provides information
• Hosts workshops
• Connects people to practical support

And it's run by the sector for the sector, chaired by Tracey Shaw from Age UK Wakefield District and Sarah Mitchell from Citizens Advice Wakefield District.

Meetings alternate between an online informal meeting and an in-person workshop, here's what's coming up:

• Thursday 20 April, 10.30am to 12pm at Nova's office: Volunteer recruitment
• Wednesday 17 May, 2pm to 3pm online: Event planning
• ‍Wednesday 7 June, in person: Volunteers' Week event
