Culture Grants Information Sessions

Culture Everywhere Micro Grants from Wakefield Council are now open for applications - attend an information session to learn more.

Culture Everywhere Micro Grants Wakefield Council’s grants specifically aimed at Wakefield-based community groups, charities, CICs and other community-focused organisations to run short term and small scale cultural, creative, or heritage projects, events and activities.

Funding is available up to £1,500 and applications are accepted throughout the year, with deadlines up until 18 December 2023.

Information Sessions

Culture Grants 2023 are holding drop-in information sessions across Wakefield district and online in February and March to answer any questions you might have about project eligibility and the application process.

Sessions will be held in:

  • Wakefield Library – Thursday 23 February, 3-6pm
  • Hemsworth Library – Monday 27 February, 10am-12pm
  • South Elmsall Library – Monday 27 February, 1:30-3:30pm
  • Normanton Library – Thursday 2 March, 10am-12pm
  • Stanley Library – Thursday 2 March, 1:30-3:30pm

  • Sandal Library – Friday 3 March, 10am-12pm
  • Horbury Library - Friday 3 March, 1:30-3:30pm
  • Featherstone Library - Monday 6 March, 10am-12pm

  • Aspire@ The Park, Pontefract – Tuesday 7 March, 10am-12pm
