We're proud to have reached this milestone as a Living Wage Employer that demonstrates our commitment to paying our staff according to the cost of living.

We pay the real Living Wage because we believe that staff deserve a wage which meets everyday needs - like the weekly shop, or a surprise trip to the dentist. The rates are independently calculated based on what people need to get by, not just the government minimum. New Living Wage rates were announced in September 2022 that reflect rising inflation.

This is just one of the ways that we work to create an inclusive culture at Nova where everyone's contributions are valued and recognised. We also do this by:

• Being a Mindful Employer – we have signed the charter to demonstrate our commitment to better mental health at work
• Being part of the Wakefield Wellbeing Charter – we joined the charter to access health and wellbeing initiatives for our staff, such as a series of short sessions on menopause.
• Working towards a Menopause Accreditation - we are committed to being menopause friendly, so we're reviewing our policies, practices, training and more to make sure our staff have the guidance and support they need
