At the last meeting we heard from our guest speakers...

With thanks to both speakers for their informative presentations!

Round The Room is our regular agenda item where we ask delegates who they are, where they’re from, what support they require and what they can offer in return. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect communicate and collaborate with other Wakefield-based VCSE organisations!

New logo!

We voted for our new Connecting Wakefield logo from the selection below – number 4 was the preferred choice with a couple of minor tweaks requested. This will soon be available to you all for use on presentations and documents as required by your organisation!

The next meeting...

The next meeting is on Thursday 8 June 9.30-11am in Ossett (venue TBC) and we have two great speakers again!

  • Helen Betts from Nova Wakefield District will be telling us all about the benefits of being a Third Sector Framework member and how to apply at the correct Tier for your organisation – a must hear!
  • Kerry Murphy - Public Health Manager (Health Inequalities and Poverty) – will be taking us through the recently published Poverty Support Services Mapping and Stakeholder work for Wakefield, complete with a summary of the findings, un-met and emerging needs and proposed next steps. A subject that we all hold close in the work that we do!

Don’t miss out – reserve your FREE tickets on the Eventbrite page.
