Although it's a 'members' assembly, it's actually open to ALL staff and trustees from local organisations. We'd love to see you all there representing our district!

A quick breakdown of what to expect

NCVO's experts will explain The Road Ahead, their annual analysis of the changing operating environment for the VCSE sector and volunteering.

• Learn about opportunities, hurdles and challenges expected in the year ahead
• Discuss in small groups how these issues are likely to impact organisations in Yorkshire and the Humber
• Consider the steps your organisation can take to prepare for challenges and mitigate risks

The Nova team will speak about our work to ensure our sector's voice is heard at strategic decision-making meetings across Wakefield District, through VCSE Voices.

• Hear reflections on the first year of the project, including key learnings and future plans
• Discuss VCSE Voices and similar initiatives with people from around the region
