Interested? Nominations for the 2024 of The King’s Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS) are now open!

KAVS is a prestigious award and can help in raising awareness of your organisation's work and fundraising when engaging with your donors and beneficiaries.

Exceptional Wakefield District-based organisations who are predominantly volunteer led - we want to hear from you. Kath Lindley and Patrick Cairns (Wakefield's DLs) are keen to support any organisations who want to apply and can help your nominator with the application process.

To apply for the award, you'll need someone to nominate your organisation and get two letters of support about the organisation from individuals which are uploaded as part of the nomination process. Read more about this on the KAVS website.
