The Funders Fair was part of Wakefield District Funders Forum’s attempts to support the VCSE sector in our district, understand some of the challenges organisations face linked to funding and encourage greater investment into the district to support our communities.

The Funders Fair brought together 10 local, regional and national funders and representatives from 45 VCSE organisations from across Wakefield District. The in-person event took place on Thursday 29 September at Eastmoor Community Project and included awareness raising presentations, bid writing workshops, networking opportunities and fantastic refreshments provided by our hosts.

Attendees provided lots of insight and information which will be discussed at the next Funders Forum early in 2023, an update will be shared in Nova’s January newsletter.
