Team Wellbeing Experiences in Wakefield District

Our members offer all sorts of activities across the district that would go down a treat with your team!

We're helping to connect them with you, so you can find your next team building or wellbeing experience.

  • Lots of VCSE organisations means LOTS of different fun activities to try!

So, what’s on offer? You’ll find a short list of activities here and if anything takes your fancy, download our full menu for more details.

  • Paddleboarding at Castleford Lock Learn the basics of paddleboarding and put your skills to work on the canal.
  • Make a Mug Workshop - Explore the tactile medium of clay on this fun and informative creative session and create your own unique ceramic mug.
  • Walk and Restorative Yoga - Enjoy flowing yoga in a dreamy relaxation session and take in the fresh air with a stroll in the local area.
  • Team Treasure Hunt at Thornes Park - For those that can remember Crystal Maze and Challenge Anneka, this session is a mix of following clues and completing challenges as you make your way around the park.
  • Mindful Art Journaling – Create a piece of art of writing based on how you feel, while taking part in mindful breathing exercises.
  • Multi-Games Activity Session - This multi-games session will see you enjoying old-school games such as Tig, What Time Is It Mr Wolf, Relays, Noughts & Crosses and much more.
  • Virtual Reality for Wellbeing – Paint in 3D all around yourself by using Virtual Reality in this calming session.  
  • Introduction to Skateboarding - Overcome your fears and take your first steps on a skateboard in this exciting activity for more adventurous teams.
  • Wreath Making for all Seasons Get creative and make a wreath for any occasion.
  • 5 Ways to Wellbeing Activities at Thornes Park – This interactive session is focused on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing while exploring the historic Thornes Park.
  • Bracelet Making – Create a beautiful bracelet in this creative session.
  • Yoga for Wellbeing - A yoga and wellbeing session designed to harness the power of mind, breath and body, and take you on a transformative journey.
  • Cooking with Company – A fun and sociable opportunity to prepare, cook and eat together with lots of chat and laughs thrown in for good measure.
  • Printmaking Workshop - Get inky in The Art House Print Studio and create your own printed works of art onto paper, on this inspiring printmaking session.

These sessions are designed for a group of around 12 and will last for 3 hours. Let us know if you have any special requests or accessibility requirements.
