Nova Adviser - Community and Enterprise Development

As part of the team of advisers, my day-to-day role focuses on supporting community organisations to develop; I’m often providing advice to members about identifying funds and writing grant applications, as well as helping groups consider their governance and structure. I lead the VCSE Voices work – an initiative to empower the voice of VCSE organisations at a strategic level. This is a priority area of work for me, and I work with advocates who attend boards and alliances within the local authority and Health and Care partnership to broadcast the needs and views of the sector. I also help deliver our Nova training events and am always glad to connect and hear from individuals and organisations from our sector!

Outside of work I enjoy playing tennis and exploring new places.
